In the mid ‘90s, prolific W.A.V.E. Productions veteran Dave Castiglione branched off to produce his own brand of South Jersey based, SOV productions under the banner of Sharkey Video. In addition to producing the features Backwoods Marcy, Love is a Stranger, Deep Undead, & An Ex-Hookers Christmas Carol, Dave and his filmmaking partner Dawn Murphy also crafted a handful of notoriously bizarre custom (and auteurist) video shorts utilizing performances from their former W.A.V.E. cohorts. Saturn’s Core and Strange Tapes are proud to present The Little World of Sharkey Video; which compiles three of Sharkey’s most eccentric and sought after short works (along with a smattering of outtakes and extras) newly restored and remastered under the supervision of filmmaker Dave Castiglione.

In The Last Laugh (1997), a psychotic nerd named Marty enacts a breath-restricting, poolside revenge on two bikini clad girls (Dawn Murphy & Debbie D.) who rejected and teased him in high school.

In The Little World of Wilbur (1996), a timid male college student is shrunk down to a minute size (using primitive, analog green screen FX) by a female scientist and then must endure the machinations of the sultry giantess and her colossal pet kitty cat!

In Fempyra (1999), explore an alien planet inhabited by a race of female alien vampires determined to exist in the sunlight. Pamela Sutch, Debbie D., & Gary Whitson co-star in Dawn Murphy’s elaborate, Sci-Fi mini-epic!
